George St was a sea of orange yesterday when more than 600
Otago school pupils, wearing safety gear, marched to
celebrate their role as crossing guards.
The annual Dunedin Orange Parade is the city's opportunity to
thank the pupils and adult helpers for the many hours spent
before and after school controlling pedestrian crossings
outside the city's schools.
