The Fire Service is investigating a massive fire that destroyed a large house in the Dunedin suburb of Waverley overnight.
The fire service was called to the Larnach Rd house just after midnight.
The fire was already well-involved when the fire service arrived.
No-one was home at the time, a spokesman said.
