A bride
arrived in a traditional manner to a wedding venue which was
anything but on Saturday.
Rosy Harray (23) was taken by horse and cart to her wedding
ceremony at the A and P Showgrounds in Mosgiel while Tim
Petterson (25) eagerly awaited her arrival inside a wire
chapel.
Rosy had made the sculpture during her final year as a fine
arts student at Otago Polytechnic.
She was thrilled to use it for her wedding.
Her mother, Helen Harray, was the celebrant; and Miss Harray
wore a dress she designed and made herself.
The wedding went off without a hitch, with the beautiful and
unusual sculpture the talk of the party.
