Ben Carr (10), and his sister Tatyana (7), of Waitati,
absorb themselves in the toppling of nearly 10,000 dominoes
in less than 10 seconds at the Otago Settlers Museum
yesterday. Photo by Linda Robertson.
Exhibitions team leader Jennifer Evans said the 9500
dominoes had been specially shipped from the United States for
the museum's school holiday programme.
It took the children two hours to place the dominoes.
The silent concentration during the morning as children built
the domino tracks had amazed her, she said.
The domino building will continue for the rest of the week
from 10am to noon daily.
