The hosts of iD Dunedin Fashion Week's main events have been
announced, with familiar faces returning to the South.
TV3 presenter Samantha Hayes will host the iD Dunedin
Emerging Designer Awards, to be held at the Lion Foundation
Arena at the Edgar Centre on March 11, which international
designer Zandra Rhodes will help judge.
Maori TV's Carol Hirschfeld will host the iD Dunedin Fashion
Show on March 12 at the Dunedin Railway Station before again
pairing with TV3's John Campbell on March 13 for the second
show.
Tickets are still available for both shows and a few for the
emerging designer awards.
Other events include Fashion: Back to the Future.
Organised by Presbyterian Support Otago, the audience will
travel back to how society looked and sounded from the 1950s
through to the '80s before moving into the future of fashion.
It will be on March 9, starting at 6.45pm at Champions.
Tickets from Shop on Carroll or The Op Shop.
Jewellery exhibitions will be held at Quadrant Gallery and
Lure, and Gallery de Novo will show art by fashion designers,
with proceeds from sales going to Artsenta Dunedin.
