About 80 homes in Milton were left without power early
yesterday after a truck damaged a power pole in Shakespeare
St.
Constable Will Pentelow, of Milton, said a truck reversed
into a power pole about 5am, cutting electricity to several
blocks. PowerNet network operations general manager Gary
Pritchard said 81 customers were affected by the incident.
Power was restored shortly before noon.
