Snow Park NZ has joined the ranks of Southern Lakes skifields
tempting bargain-hunters when it released its season-pass
prices on Tuesday.
The Pisa Range field will offer prospective buyers two
"early-bird" season pass options, available until March 18.
An economy season pass will cost $549, while a standard pass,
which includes night skiing sessions three times a week,
costs $749.
The passes were the best value season passes available in
Wanaka, marketing manager Kristy Quin said.
The terrain park intends to be the first Wanaka mountain to
open, on June 11, two weeks before the other skifields'
planned season starts.
Operations manager Sam Lee said the early opening date would
suit skiers and snowboarders, who would be sure to benefit
from the terrain park's purchase of two new PistenBully
groomers.
