Queenstown Rotarians joined forces with Happiness House
Community Support Centre staff last week to give a helping
hand to bring the Park St premises "into the 21st century".
Project convener Derek Bulman said the Thursday, Friday and
Saturday handyman work had included revamping a children's
playhouse, clearing overgrown vegetation, putting up fences
and building a chicken coop.
Happiness House staff member Andrea Balona was grateful for
the Rotarians' help.
"There was so much that we couldn't do, so these gentlemen
have come along and saved the day."
