Police discovered marijuana growing around the Queenstown
area during an aerial drug-busting operation with the New
Zealand Air Force last week.
About eight police officers were involved in the operation
using an New Zealand Air Force Iroquois helicopter to help
them locate and seize cannabis plants around Queenstown and
Arrowtown.
Detective sergeant Grahme Bartlett said "a quantity" of
cannabis had been found growing in the Queenstown area.
No arrests had been made.
