Every year a bunch of my closest girlfriends and I meet in Queenstown for a wild winter weekend away, however this year we thought we'd try and be less 'party party' and more 'at one with nature', so we decided on Wanaka, thinking it would be more subdued.
Although we had good intentions and did things like climb half-way up Mt Iron and go bike-riding (to a vineyard) over-all it was a food and wine-fuelled 5 days of laughing and consuming more than we usually would or could.
I ate a burrito the size of my head and I was so full of beans, rice and jalapenos I literally did not know what to do with myself for at least half-an-hour after ingesting it.
Other than over-indulging I also managed to make some time to get a few images of possibly Wanaka's most stylish soon-to-be-electrician, Ben Boyne. Ben used to work at 47 Frocks and dates designer, Max Mollison so his wardrobe is full of beautiful designer clothing.
