Dairy commodity prices fell at Fonterra's overnight online auction, with the GlobalDairyTrade trade weight index falling 2.6 percent, after a 4.5 percent rise at the previous event a fortnight ago.
The average winning price at the latest event, overnight, was $US4324 ($NZ5361), up from $US4306 at the beginning of June.
The trade weighted price for anhydrous milk fat fell 5.9 percent with the average winning price at $US5346, skim milk powder fell 7.1 percent with the average winning price at $US3994, while whole milk powder rose 2.6 percent with the price at $US3888.
