Planning is under way for one of the biggest one-day events on the cropping calendar.
Crops 2014, will be held on Wednesday, December 3 at the Foundation for Arable Research's (Far) Chertsey site.
Crops is Far's key field event, with attendance growing from fewer than 100 in 2002 to more than 600 when it was last held in 2012.
Crops now alternates with the Arable Research in Action (Aria) event on a biennial basis.
Aria, which focuses solely on Far research, with no external sponsors or demonstrations, was launched in 2013, and will return again in 2015.
Crops 2014 will provide an opportunity for com› panies to showcase their products and services to cropping farmers, dairy farmers, advisers, industry representatives, researchers and overseas visitors.
The aim is to provide every grower with new information to take away and apply to their own farming operation.
