Hodgson is better known as one of the frontmen of English rock band Supertramp which has had more than 60 million record sales thanks to hits such as Give a Little Bit, Breakfast in America, Dreamer and Take the Long Way Home.

Toni Childs burst onto the music scene in the late 1980s with her top 10 hit Stop Your Fussin' and I've Got to Go Now, which was featured in the film Thelma and Louise, subsequently becoming an anthem for victims of domestic abuse around the world.

James Reyne was a part of Australian rock band Australian Crawl before going solo.

James’ songs have provided the soundtrack to many kiwi summers, including The Boys Light Up, Reckless, Downhearted and Motor’s Too Fast.

His compatriot Mark Seymour helped form Hunters & Collectors, performing as their frontman until the band separated in 1998.

He wrote the anthem Holy Grail along with hits such Throw Your Arms Around Me and Do You See What I See.

Seymour and Reyne are teaming up for the first time in New Zealand to rock concert goers with some of their iconic hits from the 1980s and 1990s.

Greenstone Entertainment CEO Amanda Calvert said they were "excited" to bring these talented artists to New Zealand.

"These legendary acts are sure to get everyone on their feet for another great Summer Concert Tour in January," she said.

The sell-out 2018 tour, featuring Colin Hay, Alanis Morissette, and The Orchestra was attended by an 18,000-strong crowd in Queenstown.

Tickets went on sale today with prices starting from only $99 with free entry for kids 14 and under with an accompanying adult.

Great line up and looking forward to it. Saw Toni Childs at the Mayfair theatre a number of years ago and for the small number of us there it was a fantastic show in that setting, but may struggle to reach the same heights in this situation.
