Poetry in motion

The New Zealand Society of Authors hosts a poetry evening at Dunedin Public Library tomorrow from 7.30pm to celebrate Montana Poetry Day.

A free open-mike poetry reading will be held tonight at 8pm at Circadian Rhythm Cafe, in Dunedin.

In Wanaka, the public library will host "Big Sky Poetry" tomorrow from 5pm-7pm.

Brian Turner, Sue Wootton and David Eggleton will read their verse.

And on Saturday poet Sue Wootton holds a three-hour poetry workshop at the Wanaka library.

Encore

The Lakes District Museum, in Arrowtown, is hosting a return of the exhibition "Speaking of Change - Memories of the Wakatipu 1900-1980" which features oral history quotes, photographs and artefacts.

It runs from July 25 until October 26.
