As the introductory words from a croaky-voiced DJ establish, this is about late nights, dancefloors both empty and crowded, although you get the feeling vocalist and lyricist Clutterbuck would rather be at home with someone special (Someone That Loves You, Treat You Right) than rubbing shoulders with strangers.
Firmly rooted in R&B and neo-soul, there is little that's new here, yet Honne's quality control and attention to detail keep all 12 songs bubbling along nicely enough.
