CD Reviews: Jimmy Barnes

Well, 30:30 Hindsight is certainly the album for the working-class man, clocking in at 40 tracks.

Jimmy Barnes has got together with some good mates, family members and admired musicians to mark his 30th anniversary with a trip down memory lane.

Still caterwauling like a man gurgling razor blades, Barnes could never be accused of being subtle.

But when the most interesting thing about this album are the guests he cobbled together, you kind of wish he would shut up a bit.

Many of the songs might have sounded all right around a barbie with a crate full of cold ones in the early '90s, but today they just sound dated.

  Jimmy Barnes. 30:30 Hindsight.
