CD reviews: King Lizard and the Gizzard Wizard

The Melbourne psyche rockers release their eighth full-length album since 2012.

Nonagon Infinity is an urgent, relentless ride, conceived as an opus of nine songs that seamlessly connect.

Blissed-out garage rock, insane time changes and fuzzy synths baked in a melange of distorted guitars doesn't do it justice.

Soundtrack to a trip, riffs career off one another as the consummate seven-piece triggers deranged loops at will.

Buried in the mad mash-up are beguiling vocal melodies.

Bonkers but impressive.
