Rave reviews abound for Otago Peninsula Trust’s new partnership at Glenfalloch Restaurant with renowned chef Hannes Bareiter and his partner Melanie Hartmann, as Glenfalloch recently leapt into the top 10 restaurants in Dunedin.

Hannes’ exciting new ‘‘Trust the Chef’’ degustation dinner menu has led Glenfalloch’s popularity, with guests using phrases like ‘‘taste explosion’’, ‘‘first class’’, and ‘‘five-course, fivestar’’.

Hannes has a Master’s Degree in Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management from Germany and has worked in five-star restaurants both in Germany and New Zealand.

He has a passion for New Zealand cuisine and culture, with a philosophy of using the freshest local produce from hand-picked suppliers to create dishes that reflect the area.
