With five campuses throughout New Zealand (Auckland, Christchurch, Queenstown, Invercargill and Gore), SIT offer over 200 programmes across a wide range of disciplines. As a government accredited tertiary provider, they offer programmes from Certificate level through to Masters.
SIT’s Zero Fees Scheme has been helping students to graduate debt-free since 2001. Under the scheme, students only pay material costs without tuition fees, meaning many graduates start their careers without a student loan.
SIT’s Zero Fees Scheme is not just for the first year of study, as students can access Zero Fees Scheme benefits for the duration of their study.
As an added bonus, if Invercargill based students meet the eligibility criteria for the government’s fees-free scheme, they will also be eligible to apply for SIT’s exclusive Mayor Tim Shadbolt Accommodation Bursary for Invercargill. This gives students free shared accommodation at SIT’s apartments, or alternatively, $100 per week for up to 40 weeks’ accommodation.
Realising it wasn’t always feasible for students to be on campus, SIT launched SIT2LRN distance education, the most accessible and flexible tertiary qualifications in New Zealand. Students can study online towards a qualification without having to go to classes on campus.
Some of the areas you can study via SIT’s SIT2LRN distance learning are: Business, Communications, Adult Education, Digital Film, Health and Safety, Human Resources, Professional Coaching, Management, Marketing, and Health Science.
Whatever your study goals – let SIT help you meet them!
