Then come and have a look at Dunedin Hospital’s new state-of-the-art Gastroenterology Department.
The $3.2 million unit will be open to the public on Saturday, July 7, from 9am-noon.
“Staff and patient feedback has been very positive since we opened so we want to give the wider community the chance to have a look around,” Gastroenterology Clinical Director Jason Hill says.
“Of course the unit has the latest medical equipment but we’re also very proud of what we’ve achieved in terms of using natural light and a design which puts the patient first.
“It will give people an idea of what can be achieved with the New Dunedin Hospital.”
The Gastroenterology Department is on the 8th floor of Dunedin Hospital. Access is via lifts from the main hospital lobby.
