Parallax: The effect whereby the position or direction of an object appears to differ when viewed from different position

Get lost in the detail of Parallax, a stunning collection of images from photographer Gerard O'Brien, as seen in the Otago Daily Times. This collection is now yours to enjoy, with over 200 pages of high-quality, thought-provoking images curated into one publication.

The unique Parallax series first appeared in the ODT on February 16, 2002, a masterstroke driven by the passion and creativity of photojournalist Gerard O’Brien. It began with a rain-speckled picture of a stop sign at a local intersection and now, more than a thousand pictures later,  Gerard's extracurricular compositions have found an authentic and beloved place with our readers.

Parallax is available exclusively online at the ODT Store or over the counter at your local ODT Office.
