Brand New Show Launches!Are the kids starting to get bored these holidays? Our brand new Planetarium show Spacetronauts: Searching for Life is the best entertainment in Dunedin for 4 – 11-year-olds! Come along as we turn the Planetarium into a rocket and launch into space. Our Science Communicator is dressed up as an astronaut and is the captain of the journey; zooming to planets, moons, and past meteors on a space adventure. On the way, we stop and show you some amazing experiments from gigantic expanding marshmallows to a massive liquid nitrogen explosion that fills up the spaceship.
10.30am daily, tickets available online or from the Museum Shop.
Plus, this weekend, our Planetarium is showing other classic films that you can see on the dome screen, from E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial and Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. We look forward to seeing you soon! |
