Simplyhire was established after local franchise owners Laurie and Suzanne recently retired after serving Dunedin for over 20 years in the industry. Over the last 20 years Laurie and Suzanne have created a loyal customer base, which Simplyhire are privileged to continue looking after and offering the same great service to.
These include some of the city's largest schools and sports teams. After careful consideration, Simplyhire owner/operator Hamish Gardyne chose not to continue with the existing rental franchise as it did not provide any extra value to the existing customer base. The name has changed but the same great team of staff and vehicles remain on board. Combined they have over 10 years of experience in the industry, and will be able to provide the right solution to your needs.
Gardyne was born and raised in Otago and Southland. He is the owner of HVS Motors, who have been operating in Dunedin since 2018 and have since expanded to other regions around the South Island.
Simplyhire are delighted to have already provided rental vehicles to some of their existing HVS Motors customers. HVS have simplified the car buying process throughout New Zealand over the last seven years. Simplyhire intend to do the same for the rental industry, making the process as straight forward, low stress, and simple as possible.
