ST Clair Golf Club - Getting ladies on the green for fun and fundraising

ST Clair Golf Club has the perfect opportunity for ladies who have always wanted to try golf but didn’t know where to start.

As part of a national She Loves Golf campaign, the club is providing free ladies coaching every Sunday in November, from 2pm to 3.30pm.

She Loves Golf is about encouraging women of all ages to give golf a go. It is about letting women know that it’s OK to wear your gym gear on the green, play as many holes as you like and to not keep score — just get out there and have a go!

You are welcome to attend every Sunday, or just when you can, and equipment will be provided on the day.

The final Sunday, November 27, will be extra special, as it will raise funds for Look Good Feel Better, in conjunction with Breast Cancer New Zealand.

A mini four-hole tournament, complete with bubbles and afternoon tea, is aimed at raising money for the charity.

Look Good Feel Better is a worldwide cancer-support charity, providing free practical support to women undergoing treatment for cancer.

With make-up, skincare, skills and a positive attitude, it transforms the look and the outlook of more than 3000 New Zealand women with cancer every year.

It helps restore and enhance the appearance of cancer patients dealing with the side effects of cancer treatment. For more information about the coaching and fundraising event, contact St Clair Golf Club on (03) 487-7076.
