Gates open 9am, Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin. Depart for cruise, rain or shine - mid afternoon

Great day out for the whole family.

This event started back in 2009 after a car club member’s mother passed away at the Hospice.

A few of us got together with an idea to raise funds for the Hospice in appreciation of all the great work they do.

The event is a car show and cruise and is open to anyone who owns a vehicle, so long as it is road legal.

The idea is that all participants pay an entry fee / donation, this also includes the public who walk in and pay by a gold coin.

Every last cent made on the day is given to the Hospice, we start with no money and finish the same.

It’s due to local business’s that sponsor the event that we have funds to cover initial costs.

A prize giving is also part of the show with trophies and prizes covering 6 categories, judging usually done by an impartial well known identity, this year is the well known Otago rally driver Emma Gilmour After the car show those who wish to cruise do a trip to Mosgiel and back.
