What's On @ Otago Museum – Week of 13 July

Kia ora e te whānau,

Today we celebrate the rise of the Matariki star cluster, bringing the old year of the maramataka (Māori calendar) to a close and beginning the New Year. To mark this celebration we have a Matariki-themed Makerspace and Gallery Trail all holidays, and on Friday and Saturday, we have a Stargazing Lab to share astronomical stories, stargaze, and deliver hands-on demonstrations about the science of starlight.
