Women You Can Bank On 2017 – a Topp night out!

Women You Can Bank On returns to Dunedin following on from its success in 2016. Make a note in your diary now – Thursday 11 May, Dunedin Town Hall - as you won’t want to miss all that is on offer for the 2017 event. Dunedin Venues and BNZ have once again teamed up to bring you this terrific night out.

This year’s theme will look at how we function in a multi-generational workplace and this will be highlighted by Keynote Speaker, Professor Richie Poulton of the University of Otago. Professor Poulton will talk about leading the internationally acclaimed and recent recipient of the Prime Minister’s Science Prize, the Dunedin Study and the challenges and rewards associated with it.

We are thrilled to welcome back broadcaster and journalist Rachel Smalley as MC and Rachel will also join our guest panellists for the lounge discussion of experiences on how it is to work in today’s multi-gen sandpit.

Joining Rachel in the lounge will be panellists spanning all the generations from Gen Z through to the Traditionalist, featuring entertainer Lynda Topp, one half of the Topp Twins, taking her place on the couch representing the Baby Boomers. Our Traditionalist generation will be ably represented by Margaret Barker, Founding Director of Larnach Castle. Margaret and her family proudly celebrate 50 years this year of innovation and restoration of this New Zealand landmark.

The other generations’ panellists will be released next week and the line-up is sensational. DVML spokesperson, Kim Barnes is delighted at the calibre of guests. “We are delighted that these incredible women will be sharing their stories as part of the evening.”

On top of this terrific entertainment for the evening, guests will also enjoy a sumptuous dining experience in futuristic surroundings. Tickets on sale from Monday 10 April at www.ticketmaster.co.nz or from Forsyth Barr Stadium reception. $140pp/$1400 table of 10 (service fees apply).
