iD teaser gives sneak peek at collections

A taste of what is to come has been revealed by iD fashion in the lead-up to its International Emerging Designer Awards.

A video teaser of the event, set to take place at Otago Polytechnic on August 7, has been released.

Snippets of the 32 finalists’ collections are shown, filmed in bedrooms, hallways and parks across 14 countries during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Edited by NHNZ, the full video will give a personal insight into finalists as they introduce themselves and their design inspiration.

The awards moved online in the wake of Covid-19, and stuck with the idea.

Digital judging by a group of 16 judges, including three in Dunedin, has begun.

The iD Dunedin board has postponed plans for the iD Dunedin Designer Show pencilled in for February 2021.
