Good Oil at Nichols' chocolate chippies

Good Oil at Nichols' chocolate chippies

Makes 30

250g softened butter

½ cup sugar

¾ cup caramel sweetened

condensed millk

1 tsp vanilla essence

3½ cups flour

2 tsp baking powder

2 cups chocolate buttons


Melted chocolate to decorate


Heat oven to 170degC.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Fold in caramel, vanilla, flour, baking powder and chocolate buttons.

Roll into balls weighing about 35g.

Place on a tray and cook for 20 minutes.

Drop the tray on the bench to allow the biscuits to drop.

Drizzle with melted chocolate (if using) when cooled.
