Guided tours of the lower Dunedin Botanic Garden are held at 10.45am on days when a cruise ship is expected in Dunedin. Occasionally if a ship cancels its visit the morning tours will also be cancelled. Phone 471-9275 to check.

Otago Alpine Garden Group will meet at the Botanic Garden Centre, Lovelock Ave, at 7.30pm. Members will show slides on their excursions into the mountains over the holidays, followed by a short talk on growing native alpines. All welcome.
