Masters: Stalwart's first medal

Lynley Browne, who has been playing and co-ordinating croquet at the Masters Games since 1992, won her first medal when she won bronze in the golf croquet with her husband, Colin.

But her form slumped and she did not win a game in the singles.

June McDougall won a singles gold medal on net points when silver medallist Ann Sharp accidently peeled McDougall's ball through the final hoop to give her the winning point.
