The run of bad luck is continuing for Qantas, with a fifth flight in three days encountering problems.
The airline had to pull a plane off a flight from Canberra to Brisbane on Wednesday after discovering a problem with the aircraft.
"There is an issue with the plane but we're still looking into it. We put people on an alternative flight," a Qantas spokesman told AAP.
On Tuesday night, a Boeing 717 was forced to turn back to Hobart 20 minutes into its flight to Melbourne after an indicator light in the cockpit went off.
Earlier on Tuesday, a Qantas flight on the way to Dallas was turned back to Sydney because of technical issues affecting passenger comfort.
And two planes made emergency landings at Perth Airport on Monday because of an unusual odour, a faulty warning system and issues with the air-conditioning system.
