No bail for accused lonely hearts robber

A Queensland man extradited to NSW, who is charged with robbing two men he met through online dating ads, will remain in custody after facing court.

It's alleged the 32-year-old robbed the men, one in Liverpool and one in Croydon, after responding to "lonely hearts" advertisements posted online in December.

Beau Robert Bartlett was extradited on Friday and slapped with a string of aggravated robbery charges.

He appeared briefly at Parramatta Local Court via video link on Saturday but did not apply for bail and it was formally refused.

Bartlett is due to face court again via video link on February 11.
