Detectives in Australia are expected to publicly release CCTV footage as their hunt for missing Queensland schoolgirl Jayde Kendall continues.
The 16-year-old from Brisbane has not been seen since she was picked up by a friend, aged 18, outside Lockyer District High School, in Gatton west of Brisbane, 11 days ago.
The friend has co-operated with police and his red 2003 Toyota Corolla hatchback has been forensically examined.
Police are hoping witnesses who saw the vehicle in the Gatton area between 3pm and 6pm on August 14 - the day Jayde disappeared - will come forward to help corroborate the driver's story of what happened.
They hope by releasing CCTV footage of the vehicle, it will help jog the memory of someone who will be able to provide the missing piece of information needed to crack the case.
Jayde's uncle, Craig Morrissey, yesterday told a news conference that, although it was out of character for her, he hoped his niece had run away.
But if someone was holding her against her will, he had a clear message for them.
"Have a bit of human decency. Just bring her home to us, mate."
Although searches around the area were yet to uncover any clues, Detective Acting Inspector Matt Howard said about 20 detectives assigned to the case would continue to pore over CCTV footage and re-read statements to try to find anything that could point to Jayde's whereabouts.
