Animal-testing centre site preparation starts

Preparations for the construction of the University of Otago’s $50million Animal Research Centre are well under way, with small sheds on the Great King St site being demolished.

Contractors began the demolition process on August 3.

The five-storey facility, to be built beside the School of Physiotherapy, is expected to be completed by February 2018.
