The building is one of three "modern learning environments" at the school, which cost about $1.6 million and added about 460sq m to the school’s footprint.
"They are break-out spaces for independent learning," Mr Hunter said.
"It gives more flexibility for students to work in groups or by themselves, and not be confined to a traditional classroom space."
