More than 20 bosses from around Dunedin are getting ready to abseil off Forsyth Barr Stadium next month for charity.

Malcam Trust's annual "Toss the Boss'' fundraiser returns on June 2, when a variety of chief executives and directors will face their fear of heights to raise funds for the trust's programmes.

Trust chief executive Desiree Williams said there was still time for bosses to sign up for the fundraising event, which was in its fourth year.

Funds this year would go towards the trust's Kowhai Grove and Hive Dunedin projects.

Participants include Otago Chamber of Commerce director Alan Preston, Dunedin Mayor Dave Cull, AbacusBio managing director Anna Campbell, Dunedin MPs Metiria Turei and Clare Curran and Thankyou Payroll board of directors chairman Steve Walker.

Mrs Williams said the Hive Dunedin project offered a variety of digital technology initiatives for Dunedin children.

Kowhai Grove was a "small-scale urban farm'' on the Taieri where young people could "learn by working the land''.
