Another Burkes crash

A police officer speaks to the driver of one of the vehicles involved in a minor crash at Burkes, near Ravensbourne, yesterday morning. Police were called to the crash between two vehicles at 9.10am.

The crash occurred in almost the exact location where a truck and car collided about 3.15pm on Tuesday. The intersection is along a stretch of State Highway 88 which is destined for $2.2million of safety improvements after a series of serious crashes during the past decade.

Police said the drivers of the two vehicles involved in yesterday's crash were shaken but uninjured.
