The annual event, part of the Dunedin Cadbury Chocolate Carnival and organised by the Caversham Harrier & Athletic Club, this year attracted about 187 entries, race director Phil Coakes said.
He said it was helped by the improving weather.
''It was fun. It was good to see the kids out there enjoying it, and the families, as well.''
