Bridge over the Leith takes shape

The new $1.4 million pedestrian-cycle bridge over the Water of Leith, near Forsyth Barr Stadium, in Dunedin, is starting to take shape.

The cable-stay bridge features a 20m-high steel mast and timber decking, and will connect the West Harbour cycleway with the inner harbour and the central city.

Construction is expected to be completed next month.
