Mosgiel residents are urged to secure their property after a recent series of burglaries.
Unsecured garages and garden sheds have all been targeted, three more burglaries having been reported at the weekend.
Mosgiel police Sergeant Kevin Davidson said a 17-year-old male was arrested on Monday night and charged with burglary.
