A bus hit three parked cars in Dunedin this afternoon after the driver stepped out of his vehicle to help a passenger.
It is understood a passenger getting off the Ritchies bus with a pram near the intersection of South and Peter Sts got it caught under the bus, and the driver left the vehicle to help.
At that point, the bus started rolling backward and hit two parked cars before crossing the road to hit a ute parked on the oher side of the road.
Several people were on the bus at the time but no-one was injured.
