Te Rangihiroa getting dressed for the occasion

    The University of Otago’s new $100 millon Te Rangihiroa College is now partially clad at its site at the intersection of Albany and Forth Sts in Dunedin.

    The new 450-bed residential college will include seven levels, 125 bedrooms with ensuites, a dining hall and kitchen, multi-functional communal spaces, offices, a reception area and college staff accommodation.

    The amenities will be spread across four wings.

    The facility has been registered as a sustainable building by the New Zealand Green Building Council and is expected to open in the second semester of next year.
