Joint winners in Southern Architecture Awards

The University of Otago's redevelopment of the St David II lecture theatre (below) and Mellor Laboratories jointly won the education category award at the Southern Architecture Awards.

McCoy Wixon Architects won the award for St David II, while Parker Warburton Team Architects and Lab-Works architecture won for Mellor Laboratories.

Both sets of architects also won a Resene colour award.

The university also received a merit award for Mellor Laboratories at the Property Council of New Zealand Awards, in the education property section.
