Otago University Students’ Association president Caitlin Barlow-Groome will next year head to Wellington to take the role of vice-president of the New Zealand Union of Students’ Associations.

Ms Barlow­Groome (22), a bachelor of commerce graduate, has been elected to the fulltime role for the organisation that is the national voice of students in tertiary education.

Her term, alongside president James Ranstead, a graduate of Lincoln University, begins on January 1.
