Mystery surrounds a sculpture on University of Otago grounds. It has been sitting between the Water of Leith and the St David St lecture theatre for more than six months, enveloped by scaffolding and black plastic. Asked what it was and when it would be unveiled, a university spokeswoman said the project was not yet complete and it was hoped details about it could be shared in "the near future".
