Car crashes into bank on Northern Motorway

A car has crashed into a bank on Dunedin's Northern Motorway leaving one person with serious injuries.

A police spokeswoman said police were called to the motorway, just before Pine Hill, at 11.20am.

A car had crashed into a bank, she said.

The driver was the sole occupant of the car, she said.

A St John spokesman said one person was taken to Dunedin Hospital with serious injuries.
