Car tracked after hitting shelter; driver gone

The driver of a car that crashed into a bus shelter in Albany St, Dunedin, about 9.15am yesterday left without waiting to speak to police.

His vehicle was found in Heriot Row, having left a trail of fuel from the crash site.

Police were still looking for the man last night.
