Cash stolen in break-ins

Cash was stolen from two Dunedin premises after their doors were kicked in.

A flower supplier's premises in Turakina Rd, South Dunedin, was targeted between 3pm on Friday and 6.30am on Saturday, Senior Sergeant Mark Crawford, of Dunedin, said.

And a Princes St bookshop was entered between 5.40pm on Friday and 12.30am on Saturday, he said.

The front door was kicked in and a window smashed at a house in Dundas St, North Dunedin, between 11am on Saturday and 6.50pm on Sunday.

No property was stolen, he said.

• A purse was taken from a car in Bush Rd, Mosgiel between 3pm and 3.30pm on Sunday, Snr Sgt Crawford said.

• An unoccupied house in Glenelg St, Bradford was entered between Thursday and Sunday and a 101cm plasma television taken, he said.
