Children explore extended cycleway

St Leonards Playcentre children, led by an enthusiastic Billy Geels (4), explore the West Harbour cycleway, which has been extended from Maia to St Leonards.

"The playcentre kids have taken a real interest in it being built and have been watching all the diggers and trucks coming and going," St Leonards Playcentre president Allison Hurley told the Otago Daily Times yesterday."

It's fantastic for the area. The kids couldn't use their bikes on the main road, because it's too busy.
